About the ITPC

The International Treatment Preparedness Coalition (ITPC) is a coalition of over 600 advocates from more than 100 countries. Together we sponsored a four-day global summit on treatment preparedness in March 2003 in Cape Town, South Africa, attended by 125 people to discuss treatment advocacy and literacy in a global context. This lead to a series of new initiatives and projects including meetings with both brand name pharmaceutical companies and Indian generic manufacturers that focused on treatment access and international drug pricing. Reports from these meetings are available below.
