Swaziland

In Swaziland, we have the paternalistic approach to HIV treatment. People are just given the pills and told to take them at 8.00 in the morning and at 8.00 at night. There is no explanation at all.

This web presentation is based on a book with photographs by Wolfgang Tillmans. It follows a global meeting held in Cape Town in 2006 organised by the Treatment Action Campaign, South Africa and HIV i-Base, England.
